mockup.markention.com is a diagram tool provided by Markention Dijital Pazarlama San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. ("markention", "we"). You can use it without an account, with a free account (Free plan) or on the Team plan. By creating an account you accept these terms.

Using mockup without an account

Boards you draw without an account are stored only in your browser’s own storage; they are not sent to our server. You can’t open them on another device or share them by link. If you clear your browser data, or your browser clears it to free up space, those boards are deleted too, and because we have no access to them we can’t restore them. We recommend downloading important boards as images, or signing up for free and moving them to your account.

Accounts

• To sign up you need your name, your email address and a password. Your password is stored only in a form that can’t be reversed (a hash); we can’t see it either.
• You can also sign up or log in with your Google account. In that case we receive from Google only your name, your email address, your Google account ID and, if you have one, your profile photo; your Google password never reaches us. You can set a separate password for an account created with Google on the Account page.
• We ask you to verify your email address; sharing boards with people or by link requires a verified email address.
• You are responsible for keeping your account and password secure. If you think your account has been used without your permission, reset your password and write to us.
• On the Account page you can change your name, your optional job title, company and profile photo, your email address and your password.
• You can delete your account on the Account page at any time. Your boards (including those in the trash), their version history, share links, notes and your profile photo are deleted permanently with it; boards you shared with people are removed from their lists as well.

Plans

• Free is free of charge: up to 100 boards per account, up to 15 MB per board, all templates, PNG and SVG export, and view-only share links. We may change these limits to keep the service running.
• Team costs $4 per person per month and adds real-time collaboration, inviting people to edit or view a board, notes on boards, board reports by email, and revision history with restore (the last two hours in full, then hourly, daily and weekly versions going back up to a year; up to 200 versions per board). For now Team is switched on at your request: write to info@markention.com and we’ll agree the details with you before anything is charged.
• Boards you move to the trash stay there for one year, so you can restore them; after that they are deleted permanently, together with their version history and notes. You can also delete a board in the trash permanently yourself at any time.
• If a Team account goes back to Free, its boards and people lists stay; Team-only features (adding people, notes, reports, version history) are paused until Team is switched on again.

Content and sharing

• You own the content of your boards. We don’t use your content for anything other than running the tool (storing, displaying and backing it up).
• Please don’t create or share content that is illegal, infringes the rights of others, is misleading or is harmful. You are responsible for the content you share by link; anyone who has the link can see the board. You can turn sharing off at any time.
• On the Team plan you can give people access to your boards by email address, with edit or view rights. The person you add receives an invitation email; before adding an address, please make sure it is appropriate to share it with us for this purpose. People with edit access can change the board’s content; only you can move the board to the trash or manage its people and link.
• People who can see a board can leave notes on it. Notes show the author’s name and photo to everyone who can see the board; the author and the board owner can delete a note.
• When you send a board report, we email each recipient separately with a snapshot of the board, a short summary and the latest notes. Please send reports only to people who may see the board’s content.
• We reserve the right to remove content that breaks these terms, turn off sharing and, if necessary, close an account.

The service

The tool is provided "as is". We work to keep it running without interruption and to prevent data loss; we still recommend keeping a copy of important boards as an image or file. We may improve, change or, with notice, discontinue the service.

Personal data

The data controller is Markention Dijital Pazarlama San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. For accounts we process your name, your email address, an irreversible hash of your password, your job title, company and profile photo if you add them, your boards and notes, and login records for security (time, result and a shortened hash of your IP address). We keep the email addresses of people added to a board in that board’s access list, only to deliver the invitation and recognise their access, until the owner removes them or deletes the account. People who work on a board together see each other’s name, email address and profile photo; on Team boards, the names and photos of people who have the board open are shown to the others, for which we keep a short-lived record of about one minute. Report recipients’ addresses are used only to send that report.

We process this data to create and run your account, to send email verification, password reset, invitation and report emails, and to keep the service secure, on the basis of setting up and performing the membership agreement and our legitimate interest in service security. Emails are sent through Google’s infrastructure; when you log in with Google, your identity is verified by Google; some of our service providers are located abroad.

We keep your data for as long as your account and the purpose of processing continue; it isn’t deleted automatically after a fixed period. You can delete your account on the Account page whenever you like; deleted data also disappears from backup copies as they are renewed. Cookies and browser storage

When you log in, a single necessary cookie (mk_oturum, up to 30 days, extended as you use it) recognises your session; it is deleted when you log out. Boards made without an account and some display preferences (theme, sidebar) are kept in your browser’s own storage.

On this site’s information pages (the home page and this page), and only if you allow it, we use Google Analytics to see how visitors find and use these pages. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_* (up to 2 years), and Google processes the data, including on servers outside Türkiye. We send addresses without their query part, and Google signals and ad personalisation are turned off. Analytics is never loaded inside the editor (/pano/). You can change your choice at any time: Cookie settings.
